Semester 6
Architectural Design 6: Design intervention in abandoned industrial shells.
Students: Dimitriou | Mori | Stella-Marie

The scenario of this architectural proposal deals with the attempt to create a friendly and familiar atmosphere between people of different nationalities.
The relation of people is improved through understanding of the character and common qualities, through a process of familiarity, dialogue, understanding, coexistence, influence and creativity.
This evolutionary process is translated into an architectural metal pathway along which each nationality may be exposed through the exchange of experiences and products.
It is thus a multicultural centre under the name “Metaxourgeio Cultural Mosaic Centre” (MC²), whose operation is based on living together in the same place, symbiosis, exchanging experiences.

I believe in Bicycles!

Create an extention to your bike, so it becomes more practicle in many ways.

In developing contries it changes peoples lives in a simple but drastic way. This bike can offer not only transportation but most importantly healthcare, employement and education.

Inception Chair by Vivian Chiu

Well, here is a realy cool project by RISD student Vivian Chiu.

Instead of "Inception chair" I would have named it "Poe's chair" inspired from "a dream within a dream"...You haven't read Poe? Too bad for you!
